Question: Why would I use a BathWerx tub and Wall system in stead of replacing my old tub? Answer: In most cases the builder puts the bathtub in first, then the walls and floor go over a thin metal still called a “flange” this holds the tub in place. So in order to remove the tub the walls and floors are severely damaged and you are now faced with replacing your walls and your floor at the same time. But with BathWerx we can install a beautiful new acrylic tub and walls right over your old ones in less then a day. We can even change your old taps and drain to a pristine new collection. Can you cover up my dingy looking tiles? Answer: Yes we can! Our wall systems have been engineered and designed to go over most surfaces. We custom measure each application to ensure a perfect fit each time. We will even repair some bad spots in your wall if needed to ensure we have a nice solid surface for you new wall. Is their any maintenance required to a BathWerx Tub and Wall system? Answer: No, Not at all in fact your new tub and wall system is a snap to clean. The product is non porous so you don’t need to seal it or treat it. There is no grout to discolour so you can put that old tooth brush away. I find a simple little squeegee will do almost all the cleaning for me, say good bye to those awful smelling chemicals. Back to Top
Does it scratch easily? Answer: No Acrylic is a very tough product that has been on the market for decades. So with proper cleaning you can keep your new tub looking new for years to come. If it does scratch remember acrylic is a very durable product but it is possible to scratch it with out hindering its longevity or durability. We have made some designs to help hide and scratches that might accidentally happen. Such as the colour you select for your new tub and wall system goes right through, so small surface scratches will be harder to see. And in the case of a deep scratch it can be polished out.
